Injuries to the eye are most always preventable with proper protection. Don't neglect wearing protective goggles when doing jobs around the house.

Eye injuries, however minor, can cause more serious problems down the road. If you have injured your eye, always have it checked out.

Eye care has come a long way! Astigmatism used to mean thick glasses and no ability to wear contacts, but that is not true today! Your eye doctor can give you lots of options to correct astigmatism.

While farsightedness and the need for reading glasses is common as we age, having regular exams will keep you seeing clearly!

Getting something in your eyes can be painful, but rubbing the eye can cause injury to the eyeball, depending on what it is. The best thing to do is flush the eye with clean water or ophthalmic saline solution.

Watch your child when they are reading. They should not need to squint or struggle to see the words on a page.

Your doctor has many tests that screen for color-blindness. It can be a frustrating condition, although does not affect your vision most of the time.

Never ignore crossed eyes! If you notice it in you or your child, see your doctor right away! The only way to treat and reverse crossed eyes is with proper medical care.

In my appointment, they took the time to explain everything to me. It was very informative. I feel confident in their care. I would definitely recommend them.

Wow. I was on a family vacation when I lost my contacts and forgot to pack extras. The women who owns this store not only gave me a pair, gave me 3 and did not charge me. She was extremely nice to my two children, 2 and 1 year old, that were there as well. I highly recommend this shop. You won't be disappointed. Thank you so much again.

Shopped around for glasses and ended up at Perry Optical, which I was beyond grateful for. Not only does their team ensure you have a kind welcome, their glasses are very reasonable priced, and many styles to choose from. Also their delivery time was half what the big box store had quoted us. My husband and I both got our new sets and will be back here next time we need a checkup or new glasses. So thankful for this place! Highly recommend!
